Alice Loree Barnes

Alice Barnes, 90, resident of Sikeston, formerly of Charleston died Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at her son's home. She was born February 27, 1925 in Bragg City, Missouri to Moses and Rosie Hurns Fulton.

She was a cook for the Charleston Public Schools for years and a member of Holy Trinity Church of Deliverance where she was one of the founders and a charter member.

She is survived by one son, Gus Barnes of Sikeston, one daughter, Sarah Crawford of Sikeston and a host grandchildren, great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.

Friends may call Saturday, June 27, 2015 from 12:00 noon until the funeral hour of 2:00 P. M. at Holy Trinity Church of Deliverance in Charleston with the pastor, Eld. Jesse McNeil, officiating.

Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston with the Williams Funeral Home of Charleston in charge of arrangements.
