Ulysses Neal Jr

Ulyses Neal, Jr.,78,affectionately known as "Jack", resident of Sikeston, died Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at his home. He was born February 17, 1937 in Jonesboro, MS to the late Ulyses and Viola Dotson-Ellis Neal, Sr.

He was an employee of the Sikeston Power Plant until his retirement in 2009 and was a member of Freewill Missionary Baptist Church in Sikeston.

He was united in marriage to Gloria Daniel who survives of the home.

In addition to his wife he is survived by eleven sons and seven daughters-in-law, Ulyses Neal and Mia Neal, III and Luegean and Bessie Neal of Poplar Bluff, Melvin and Donna Neal, Jerry and Tammy Neal and Tebbie and Diane Neal of Memphis, TN, Tibbie Neal of Little Rock, AR, K’Vone Neal, Tony and Pam Neal, Rickey Neal and Rodney Neal of St. Louis, and Terry and Tammar Stanback of Alpharetta, GA, six daughters and three sons-in-law, Jayda Neal of Sikeston, Patricia and Albert Arnold and Celestine Stanback of St. Louis, Cherry and Cleveland Sweat of Colorado Springs, CO, and Katherine Neal and Shirley and Curtis Garmon of Memphis, one brother, Robert Ellis of Sikeston, eight sister, Lueberta Lott, Penny Simmons, Mattie Harris, Ruby Mosby, Dorothy Moone and Kelly Weakley of Sikeston, Mary Ellis Edwards of Memphis and Mary Lou Richardson of Chicago, and a host of grandchildren great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Friends may call Friday, July 3, 2015 from 12:00 noon until the funeral hour of 1:00 P. M at Cornerstone Missionary Baptist Church in Sikeston with the Pastor, Rev. L. J. Nabors officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston with the Williams Funeral Home of Sikeston in charge of arrangements.
