Robert Lee Jones

Robert Lee Jones, 57, affectionately known as “Mr. Stuff” of New Madrid, formerly of Haywood City, died Monday, July 27, 2015 at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston. He was born October 4, 1957 in Arlington, TN to the late Walter and Lacy Ball Jones.

He was employed by Atlas Carrier for over 24 years until his retirement in 2004 and was a member of New Morning Star MB Church in Haywood City.

He is survived by three sons, Robert Jones Jr. of Haywood City, Rodriquez Jones of Sikeston and Laurenzo Jones of Springfield, four daughters and two sons-in-law, Rosaline (Rumaldo) Ramos III of McAllen, TX, Roxanne Turner of Sikeston, Jerrica (Solomon) Stewart of Haywood City and Rosanna Turner of Cape Girardeau, one brother, Hubert Ray of Osceola, AR, three sisters, Betty Shields of Brownsville, TN and Mary Ann Naylor and Pastor Virginia Wright of Chicago, seven grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Friends may call Saturday, August 1, 2015 from 11:00 A. M. until the funeral hour of 12:00 noon at New Morning Star MB Church in Haywood City with the pastor, Rev. Alex Sims officiating.

Interment will follow in the New Morning Star Cemetery in Haywood City with the Williams Funeral Home of Sikeston in charge of arrangements.
