Stephanie Genise Johnson

Stephanie Genise Johnson, 44, resident of Garland, TX, formerly of Cape Girardeau died August 15, 2015 at Texas Health Dallas. She was born January 22, 1971 in Topeka, KS to the late Clarence David Johnson, Sr. and Phyllis Anderson Johnson of Cape Girardeau and was of the Baptist faith.

She was a 1989 graduate of Cape Central High School and attended Southeast Missouri State University. She was a phlebotomist for Lab Corp until her health failed. She relocated to Dallas in 2010 and worked as a wedding planner.

In addition to her mother she is survived by two sons, Chase L. Johnson of Cape Girardeau and Collin P. Tipler of Garland, one daughter, Chasidy L. Johnson of Jonesboro, Arkansas, two brothers, Clarence D. (Roshanda) Johnson, Jr. of Dallas and Scotty (Cassandra) Ayers of Cape Girardeau, two sisters, Kimmelyn Anderson and Regina Firerson of Cape Girardeau, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Friends may call Friday, August 21, 2015, from 11:00 A. M. until the funeral hour of 12:00 noon at Greater Dimensions Ministries in Cape Girardeau with Minister Daniel Bird officiating.

Interment will follow in the Fairmount Cemetery in Cape Girardeau with the Williams Funeral Home of Charleston in charge of arrangements.
