Shaquille "Kelo" Sherrod

March 4, 1994 — August 19, 2015

Shaquille Sherrod, 21, affectionately known as “Kelo” of Sikeston, died Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston. He was born March 4, 1994 in Kennett, Missouri and was the son of Carl and Paula Renea Nichols of Sikeston.

He attended Sikeston High School where he would have graduated in 2013 but obtained his GED in 2012 and was currently employed by Tyson Foods in Dexter, Missouri.

In addition to his parents he is survived by five brothers, Michael, Earnest Phayzun, Kyle and Mike, four sisters, Shuanterria, Aalyia, Mikala and Mikal, one grandmother, Louise Townsend of Malden and one great grandmother, Willie Mae Pulliam of Kennett and a host of other relatives and friends.

Friends may call Saturday, August 22, 2015 from 12:00 noon until the time of service at 1:00 P. M. at Free Will Missionary Baptist Church in Sikeston with Minister Carl Nichols officiating.

Interment will follow in the Sikeston Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston with the Williams Funeral Home of Sikeston in charge of arrangements.
