Condra Caldwell Jr

Condra Caldwell, Jr, was born in , Obion Tennessee on October 11, 1927 to the late Condra Caldwell Sr and Ruby(Smith) Caldwell.

He died on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at the Methodist University Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee at the age of 87 years, 10 months and 29 days
He accepted Christ at a very early age and served as a Deacon for many years. Condra enjoyed reading the Bible and talking about the wonderful blessing the Lord allowed him to receive.

His career was spent as a dedicated farmer allowing him to provide for his family. He was wise beyond his years and always showed support for his children.

He was united in marriage for 39 years to the late Verlar Mae (Reed) Caldwell. To that union twelve children were born.

Proceeding him in death Is four of his son’s Donald Caldwell, Terry Caldwell, Ronnie Caldwell, Timothy (Tim)Caldwell and one great-­-grandson Jajhirien Caldwell.

He leaves to cherish eight children, Deborah Caldwell of Memphis, TN, Billy (Pauline) Caldwell of Ashburn, VA, Jerry Caldwell of Memphis, TN, James Caldwell of South Riding, VA, Tammy Caldwell of Memphis TN, Melissa Caldwell of Memphis TN, Ronald "Lamont" Caldwell of Memphis TN, Shana Caldwell of South Riding,VA. He leaves eleven grandchildren; Darrion "Tae", Telly,Cheree, Brian, Amanda, Jason, Dustin,, Dominick,Christian, Marshall, Makiria and five great grandchildren Akelia, Jalen, Larenzle, Zykieria and Dequan.

He was one of eleven siblings in which eight proceeded him in death. He will be missed by his sister Flossie Thomas of Union City, Tn, his brothers Norman(Hazel)Caldwell of Fort Wayne, IN and Roy Lee Caldwell of Union City, TN. Also he leave to cherish Althia, Teresa, .Sherrie and Martha and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Friends may call Saturday, September 19, 2015 from 12:00 noon until the funeral hour of 1: 00 P. M. at Opportunity Church of God in Christ in Charleston with Jackie Thomas officiating. Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston with the Williams Funeral Home of Charleston in charge of arrangements.
