Mary M. Wade, 82, resident of Jackson died September 14, 2015 at her home. She was born May 23, 1933 in Jackson, Missouri to the late Wilson C. and Pearlie Mae Horell Mitchell.
She attended Lincoln Grade School in Jackson, MO and John S. Cobb High School in Cape Girardeau, MO. She retired from Lee-Rowan Company in Jackson after 33 years of service and was a member of Futrell Memorial Church of God in Christ in Jackson where she had served as District Missionary for the Southern District.
She was united in marriage to Benny Wade who precedes her in death.
She is survived by two sons, Kevin (Gloria) Wade of Hoxie, Kansas and Kerry (Karen) Wade of Boston, Massachusetts, two daughters, Syvilla (Sherman) Swan of Jackson and Beverly McKinley of Atlanta, GA, two brothers, Bobby Mitchell of Jackson and Raymond Mitchell of Cape Girardeau, one sister, Alfreda Bird of Cape Girardeau, 10 grandchildren,10 great grandchildren, a God son, Eddie McClary of California, a very special friend, Rosa Brook of Texas and a host of nieces and nephews.
Friends may call Sunday, September 20, 2015 from 11:00 A. M. until the funeral hour of 1:00 P. M. at Futrell Memorial Church of God in Christ in Jackson with Apostle William Bird officiating. Interment will follow in the Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson with the Williams Funeral Home of Charleston in charge of arrangements.
