Mable Valentine

Mable Valentine, 96, resident of Sikeston died September 28, 2015 at her home. She was born July 17, 1919 in Rome, MS to the late William and Elnora Bailey Rodgers.

She was a member of Powerhouse of God Church where she served as Church Mother and was united in marriage to Rueben Valentine who also precedes her in death.

She is survived by three sons, James Valentine of Milwaukee, WI, Willie Hill of Sikeston and David Edwards of Benton Harbor, MI, three daughters, Mary Valentine of Milwaukee, WI, Rose Valentine of Sikeston and Ophelia Shoffner of Bloomington, IL, 28 grandchildren, 51 great grandchildren, 18 great great grandchildren, two great great great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Friends may call Saturday, October 10, 2015 from 11:00 A. M. until the funeral hour of 12:00 P. M. at Powerhouse of God Church where the pastor, Rev. Betty Ware will be officiating.

The Williams Funeral Home of Sikeston is in charge of arrangements.
