Freddie Harris 59, resident of Haywood City, Missouri died October 26, 2015 at Missouri Delta Hospital in Sikeston. He was born November 3, 1955 in Lelend, Mississippi to Rose Hill Harris of Sikeston and the late Jim Harris, Sr.

He was a member of New Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church of Haywood City and employed as a truck driver.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by three sons, Timothy Winston of Kansas City, Missouri, Stephon Turner of California, DeOntaye Beach of St. Louis, five daughters, Angelia Applewhite of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, Lasheka Douglas and Letha Reed of Sikeston, Paige Noggle of Arkansas, and Precious Taylor of Kennett, Missouri, three sisters, Jessie Blackmon of St. Louis, Missouri, Lou Ann Spence of Sikeston, and Virginia Dawson of Marion, Ohio, seven brothers, Willie Hass of Greenville, Mississippi, James Harris, Jim Harris Jr., Jerry Harris, Charles Harris, and Jerome Harris all of Sikeston, and David Harris of St. Louis, and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, and other relatives.

Friends may call Saturday, October 31, 2015 from 11:00am until the funeral hour of 12:00 noon at New Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church in Haywood City with Pastor Alex Sims officiating. Interment will follow in New Morning Star Cemetery in Haywood City.
