Louis Andrew Marshall, 74, affectionately known as “L A” of Sikeston died November 11, 2015 at the Sikeston Convalescent Center. He was born July 7, 1941 in Coahoma County, Mississippi to the late Robert and Murlee Jones Marshall.
He was a former employee of Ford Motors in Detroit, Michigan and was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by three brothers, Sam Marshall, Edgar Lee Marshall and Robert Marshall, one son, Lee Brown and one daughter, Andrea Warfield.
He is survived five sons, Lee Allen Jones and Lee Warfield of Sikeston, Derrick Griffin of Taylor, MI, Dail Griffin of Ypsilanti, MI and Louis Lawrence of Gordonville, MO, five daughters, Rogenia Collins of St. Louis, Carla Marshall of Benton Harbor, MI, Quida Harris Barber of Sikeston, Shreatha Patterson of Cape Girardeau, and Dawn Davis of Atlanta, one brother, Quincy Marshall of Sikeston, one sister, Jessie Lane of Sikeston and a host grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
Friends may call Sunday, November 15, 2014 from 1:30 P. M. until the funeral hour of 2:30 P. M. at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Sikeston with Bishop Calvin Bird officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset of Memories Cemetery.
