Clara Mcclinton

Clara McClinton, 93, resident of Haywood City died Sunday November 15, 2015 at her home. She was born February 27, 1922 in Wahalak, MS to the late Ike and Sofia Lockett Nicholson.

She was a member of New Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church in Haywood City and was united to marriage to Jessie McClinton who preceded her in death in 1968.

She is survived by three sons; James (Juanita) McClinton of Haywood City, Donnie (Herice) McClinton of Cape Girardeau, and Virgil (Ilene) McClinton of Chicago, six daughters, Carol (George Miller) Donaldson of Burlington, IA, Doris McCane of Keokuk, IA, Annie (Robert Jackson) McClinton of Haywood City, Debra (Jessie) Wheeler of Sikeston, Linda McClinton of Chicago and Nancy (Johnny Walker) McClinton of Cape Girardeau, one sister, Lula Mae Sims of Kansas City, MO and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grand-children, cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Friends may call Saturday, November 21, 2015 from 11:00 A. M. until the funeral hour of 12:00 P. M. at the New Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church in Haywood City with the pastor, Rev. Alex Sims officiating.

Interment will follow in the New Morning Star Cemetery in Haywood City with the Williams Funeral Home of Sikeston in charge of arrangements
