William Daniel McFerren, 76, affectionately known as "Mr. Bud" died Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. He was born May 29, 1939 in Steele, MO to the late Sammie and Arnell Walker McFerren, Sr.
He was employed as a Commercial Truck Driver for many years while living in Chicago. He relocated to Lilbourn in 1988 and was a member of Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church in Lilbourn.
He is survived by two sons, Tony (Marilyn) McFerren of South Holland, IL and Anthony (Angela) Hill of Colorado Springs, CO, four daughters, Ruth Ann (Stanford) of Denver, CO, Yolanda Hicks of Columbia, MO, Cynthia (Timothy) Odom of Gary, IN and Zanettra Hammock of Lynnwood, IL, four brothers, Lennis McFerren of Bertrand, Alvin McFerren of Cape Girardeau, Claude McFerren of New Madrid, and Earnest McFerren of Lilbourn, three sisters, Samella Kelly of Rantoul, IL and Joyce Tate and Pauline Robinson of Chicago, 20 grand children, 20 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
Friends may call Friday, January 8, 2016 from 5:00 P. M. - 7:00 P. M. at Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church in Lilbourn. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2016 at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Sikeston with Rev. Tony Walker officiating.
Interment will follow in the Sand Hill Cemetery in New Madrid with the Williams Funeral Home of Howardville in charge of arrangements
