Emanuel 'Mank" Jones

Emanuel Jones, 71, affectionately known as "Mank" died March 2, 2016 at Golden Living Center in New Madrid. He was born October 1, 1944 in Oakville, Tennessee to the late Elijah and Lillie Jones, Sr. and was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his companion for many years, Clara Nelson of Lilbourn, two sons, Tommy Ross of Clarkton and Reginald Thompkins of Portland, Oregon, three brothers, William Becton of St. Louis, Elijah Jones, Jr. of Malden, and Charles Jones of Lawton, OK, two sisters, Beulah Jones Smith and Lillie Jones Wilson of Wardell, two granddaughters, Haylee Ross and Hanna Ross of Clarkton and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Friends may call Saturday, March 12, 2016 from 12:00 P. M. until the funeral hour of 1:00 P. M. at First General Baptist Church of Lilbourn with Elder Willie Johnson officiating.

Interment will follow in the Simmons Park Cemetery in Catron with the Williams Funeral Home of Howardville in charge of arrangements.
