Tommy Cleaves , 65, resident of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, died April 4, 2016, at the Charleston Manor Skilled Nursing Facility in Charleston, Missouri. He was born September 3, 1950 to the late Jessie and Callie Nicholson Cleaves.
He was a member of Southside Baptist Church in Cape Girardeau, and he graduated from Charleston High School in 1970.
He is survived by eight brothers, Jimmy Cleaves of Charleston, Randy Cleaves of Cape Girardeau, Samuel Cleaves, Steve Cleaves, John Cleaves and Timothy Cleaves of Columbus, Ohio, Jessie Cleaves of Louisville, Kentucky, and Phillip Cleaves of Queens, New York, three sisters, Delores Hall of Charleston, Larcene Robinson and Diana Cleaves of Cape Girardeau, nephews, nieces, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Friends may call Saturday, April 9, 2016 from 12:00 noon until the funeral hour of 1:00 PM at St. Matthews Full Gospel Baptist Church with Pastor Floyd Wade officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston.
