Etta Ruth Stockston

Etta Ruth Stockston, affectionately known as "Ms. Etta", 85, resident of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, died May 19, 2016 at The Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau. She was born December 9, 1930 in Philadelphia, Mississippi to the late Stennis and Mary Kirkland Clemons.

She is survived by three brothers, Philip Clemons of Charleston, Missouri, John Thomas Clemons of Cape Girardeau, and Joe Mitchell Brown of Detroit, Michigan, two sisters, Ira Jo Gordon of Charleston, Yvonne Mack of Jefferson City, Missouri, and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Friends may call Friday, May 27, 2016 from 10:00 A.M. until the funeral hour of 11:00 A.M. at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church in Charleston with Reverend Nathan Johnson officiating.

Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
