Jimmie Lee Moore, Sr.

Jimmie Lee Moore, Sr., 80, resident of Sikeston, Missouri died Friday, August 5, 2016 at his home. He was born October 1, 1935 in Maple, Mississippi to the late Neil Moore, Sr. and Mattie Jackson Hampton.

He retired from Genie Car Wash after 35 years of employment. He spent most of his life in Waco, TX until he moved to Sikeston, MO. He was of the Baptist belief.

Survivors include: one daughter, Carrie Moore of Sikeston, MO. Four sons and three daughters-in-law, James (Della) Oliver, Rickey (Donna) Moore, and Eddie Moore all of Sikeston, MO. and Desmond (Tawanna) Davis of Waco, TX. Five sisters and one brother-in-law; Mary Moore, Lucy (Harden) Furlow, Beatrice Stanford all of Waco, TX. Alberta Hampton and Dorothy Mathis of Canton, OH. Three brothers and two sisters-in-law; William Moore, Nathaniel (Marilyn) Hampton, and Albert Lee (Sharon) Hampton all of Waco, TX. 16 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.

Visitation is from 12 noon until service time at 1PM Saturday at Green Memorial Church of God In Christ with the Rev. Richard Lee officiating.

Burial will follow at Sunset of Memories in Sikeston.

Williams Funeral Home of Sikeston is in charge of arrangements.
