Freddie Lee Agee, 69, resident of Charleston, Missouri died Thursday, December 8, 2016 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. He was born January 9, 1947 in Charleston to the late Benjamin Franklin Agee and Virley Jennings Agee.
Freddie was employed by Burkhart Foam in Cairo, Illinois for over 25 years until his retirement, during which time he served as an union steward and shift supervisor. He was also a member of Mercy Seat Missionary Baptist Church.
He is survived by two daughters and two sons-in-law, Andria and Ronald Scott of Charleston and Sandria and Oliver Brown of Raleigh, North Carolina, three stepsons, LaMarcus Spillers of Aurora, Illinois, Thomas Spillers of St. Louis, and Terrance (Rosalin) Spillers of Cairo, two stepdaughters, Tamara Spillers of Cape Girardeau and Roshaunda Nowlin of Aurora, six brothers, Ernest Agee and Michael Fulton of Oklahoma, Jerry Agee of Ohio, R. Wesley Agee of Florida, Carl B. Fulton of North Carolina, and Frank Agee of Louisiana, four sisters, Carolyn Agee, Margie Washington, and Jeanette Agee of North Carolina and Rose Marshall of Michigan, a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren ,nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
Friends may call Saturday, December 17, 2016 at 12:00 noon until the funeral hour of 1:00 pm at Mercy Seat Missionary Baptist Church in Charleston with Pastor Arthur Cassell officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
