Susie Mae Jackson

Susie Mae Jackson, 88, resident of Wilson City, Missouri died Thursday, March 30, 2017 at the Charleston Manor Skilled Nursing Facility. She was born February 14, 1929 in Pensacola, Mississippi to the late Albert Hearns and Josie Pearson.

Susie loved the Lord and was saved under the leadership of the late Elijah Betts in 1960. She served as a Church Usher, President of the Y.P.W.W., and on the Mother's Board at Faith Temple Church of God in Christ under Pastor Limmie D. Pulliam.

She married Willie Jackson on August 21, 1971, and they were married for 32 years. He preceded her in death in March 2003.

Susie is survived by two sons and one daughter-in-law, Elder Elvin (Stella) Greer of Wilson City and James Greer of East Prairie, Missouri, two daughters and one son-in-law, Patricia Jackson and Charvette (Dr. Lamonte') Calvin of Sikeston, Missouri, five stepdaughters, Remal Orr, Willie Edyth Davidson, Argusta Lucas, Neomia Young all of Detroit, Michigan and Artenser (Tony) Durrah of Upper Marlboro, Maryland, a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, other relatives, and friends.

Friends may call Saturday, April 8, 2017 at 11:00 am until the funeral hour of 12:00 noon at Faith Temple Church of God in Christ in Wyatt, Missouri with Superintendent Steve Betts officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery in Charleston.
