Demetric LaShaun Atchison, 41, resident of Charleston, Missouri, died Thursday, May 11, 2017 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. He was born November 26, 1975 to the late Martha Harris Atchison and C. W. Mixon of Charleston, Missouri.

Demitric was a Charleston High School graduate.

In addition to his father, he is survived by four sons, Demetric Owens and Robert Preston Ritchey of Charleston, Missouri, Ray Lewis Legg of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, and Jared Sneeringer of East Prairie, Missouri, two daughters, Demeisha Owens of Charleston, Missouri and Nakia Lashay Doughty of St. Louis, Missouri, three brothers, Edward Atchison of Oakland, California, Johnny Atchison and Christopher Atchison of Charleston, Missouri, three sisters, Linda Pope , Alisa Williams, and Bridgett Atchison all of Charleston, Missouri, three grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Friends may call Friday, May 26, 2017 from 12:00 noon until the funeral hour of 1:00 pm at the Williams Funeral Chapel in Charleston with Reverend Sylvester Davis officiating.
