Ajante' Kamar Johnson

Ajante' Kamar Johnson, 16, resident of St. Louis, Missouri, formerly of Charleston, Missouri died May 19, 2017 in St. Louis. He was born August 15, 2000 in Sikeston, Missouri to Rodney Johnson of St. Louis, Missouri and the late Audrey Kay Cross.

Ajante' attended Vashon High School and Gateway STEAM High School. He enjoyed football, track and field, soccer, and robotics.

He was a member of the Reserved Officer Training Corps (ROTC) program. He was looking forward to a career in the Air Force.

He had a great sense of humor and was full of laughter and joy. He will always be remembered for his wonderful smile and his dedication to his family and friends.

Ajante' leaves to cherish his precious memories, his father, Rodney (Diane) Johnson of St. Louis, Missouri, his sister, Alysia Cross of New York, his grandmother, Marzella Cross of Charleston, Missouri, a host of stepsiblings, uncles, aunts, cousins, other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, June 4, 2017 at 3:00pm at New Perfect Peace Church, 3540 Marcus Avenue, St. Louis, Missouri with Pastor Robert Loyd, Sr. officiating.
