Dennis Damion Deon Thompson

Dennis Damion "Deon" Thompson, 39, resident of Holts Summit, Missouri, formerly of Oran, Missouri, died Sunday, June 11, 2017 in Jefferson City. He was born March 17, 1978 in Miami, Florida to Patricia Thompson-McBride of Cape Girardeau, Missouri and Dennis Thompson of Louisville, Georgia.

Deon accepted Jesus as his personal savior at an early age. He attended the Blissett Temple Church of God in Oran and Higher Dimension Ministry International in Jefferson City.

He was graduate of Scott County Central High School Class of 1997. Deon was a young man with many talents--music, both instrumental and voice, comedy, and his first love, cosmetology.

In addition to his parents, Deon is survived by one brother and one sister-in-law, Adrian and Nicole Thompson of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, one sister, Dwashon Thompson of Louisville, Georgia, uncles, aunts, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Friends may call Saturday, June 17, 2017 from 11:00am until the funeral hour of 12:00 noon at Christ Church of the Heartland, 720 Bertling Street in Cape Girardeau, Missouri with Bishop Ronnie Webb officiating. Interment will follow in Fairmount Cemetery.
