Lillie Mae Mccray

Lillie Mae McCray, 77. resident of St. Louis, Missouri, formerly of Charleston, Missouri, passed away June 15, 2017 at St. Louis University Hospital. She was born September 6, 1939 in New Madrid, Missouri to the late Roosevelt and Elnora Johnson Evans.

Lillie was married to George McCray for many years and he preceded her in death in July 2005.

She was fun-loving and caring. She enjoyed cooking and fishing.

Lillie's faith was important to her and she attended the Salvation Army Church in St. Louis.

Lillie leaves to cherish her precious memories, her four sons and one daughter-in-law, Oscar Evans, Willie James Evans, George (Barbara) Evans, and Jerome McCray all of St. Louis, Missouri, one brother, Floyd "Goldie" Wade of Sikeston, Missouri, nine grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Friends may call Saturday, June 24, 2017 from 12:00 noon until the funeral hour of 1:00 pm at the Bowden Civic Center in Charleston with Pastor Arthur Cassell officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
