Matisha Renee Washington, 38, resident of Charleston, Missouri, died in her home on Monday, August 14, 2017. She was born July 6, 1979 in Charleston, Missouri to Doris Washington of Redford, Michigan.

Matisha had a heart of gold. She was sweet, fun-loving, caring and well-liked by everyone. She never met a stranger. She will be missed by many.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her three sons, JaMael Nelson, Trevonn (Timara) McCluney and Terrence Walker, Jr. all of Charleston, Missouri, three brothers, Andrew Suggs of Charleston, Missouri, Frank Washington of Utica, New York, and Michael Washington of Indianapolis, Indiana, two sisters, Cyressia Washington and Kathy (Iric Farmer) Washington of Charleston, Missouri, the man who raised her, Andrew Suggs of Paducah, Kentucky, her best friends, Nichole McCatrey of Charleston, Missouri, Dorris Davis of St. Louis, Missouri, and Carrie Steward of Bertrand, Missouri, uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, other relatives, and friends.

A memorial service will be held Monday, August 21, 2017 at 4:00 pm at the Williams Funeral Chapel in Charleston with Reverend Laverne Frazier officiating.
