Joe Nathan Treadwell. Sr., 56, resident of Charleston, died on Sunday, October 29, 2017 at Landmark Hospital in Cape Girardeau. He was born August 19, 1961 in Wyatt, MO to Vernice Ivy of Charleston.
He attended school in Chicago, Illinois and Charleston. Missouri. While in school he was a member of the Wrestling Team and a graduate of the 1979 class at Charleston High School. After graduation Joe enlisted in the United States Army where he received an honorable discharge on March 2, 1982.
He was employed as a general laborer and painter for Ivy's Plastering and Stucco Company.
Joe Nathan enjoyed sports and socializing with others and he loved to traveled.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by two sons and two daughters-in-law, JaShawn (Lashonika) Baldwin of San Antonio, TX and Joe Nathan (Amber) Treadwell, Jr, of Atlanta, GA, three daughters, TeQuita Culbreath and Alisha Culbreath of Grand Rapids, MI, and Javonna Treadwell of San Antonio, TX, one brother, Mitchell Treadwell of Charleston, three sisters, Hattie Brown of Charleston, Ader Jackson of Dallas, TX and Michelle (Jermaine Coleman) of Sikeston, 10 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Friends may call Monday, November 6, 2017 from 11:00 am. until the funeral hour of 12:00 Noon at Faith Temple Church of God in Christ in Wyatt. Interment will follow in Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield with full military rites. The Williams Funeral Home of Charleston in charge of arrangement
