Amber Chanelle Johnson, affectionately known as Amber Bamber, 26, resident of Charleston, Missouri died Thursday, December 28, 2017 near Charleston, Missouri. She was born June 29, 1991 in St. Louis, Missouri to Norris and Audrey Riggin Johnson of Charleston, Missouri.
Amber was baptized at an early age at Grand Avenue Seventh Day Adventist Church where she sang in the choir and was an usher. She enjoyed attending church.
Amber was a member of the 2009 graduating Class of Charleston High School. After graduation, she attended Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, Arkansas.
She was currently employed at Southeast Health as an administrative assistant in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by two sisters, her twin, Alexis Johnson of Sikeston, Missouri, and Marcella Baker of Austin, Texas, two brothers and one sister-in-law, Bryant Johnson and Norris (Jacquala Campbell) Johnson, Jr. of Austin, Texas, her grandmother, Mary Riggin of Charleston, Missouri, uncles, aunts, two nephews, four nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Elbert Horton, Sr., Marcella Watts, and Johnny Bryant.
Friends may call Friday, January 5, 2018 from 5:00 pm until 7:00pm at the Williams Funeral Chapel in Charleston, Missouri. Funeral Services will be Saturday, January 6, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Grand Avenue Seventh Day Adventist Church in Charleston with Pastor Frederick Montgomery officiating.
Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery with the Williams Funeral Home of Charleston in charge of arrangements.
