Dennis Milton was born September 20, 1953 in Chicago, Illinois to Dennis Milton, Sr. and Maple Green Milton. He was one of seven siblings, six boys and one girl.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Dennis Milton, Sr. and Maple Green Milton, and three brothers, Eugene Coaker, Russell Milton, and Robert Lee Milton.
Dennis was a graduate of Gideon High School.
He worked various jobs during his younger years where he gained experience. The experience allowed him to be a man of many talents. However, his true passion was farming and driving trucks.
Dennis realized there was a void in his life, he accepted Christ and became a member of One More Chance Ministries under the leadership of Minister Hallie Bonner. Dennis enjoyed his church family.
On December 30, 2017, while at his home, surrounded by his family, Dennis answered the higher call and transitioned to a place of peace, joy and happiness. He has found rest at the age of 64 years, three months, and 10 days.
He leaves to cherish precious memories, one daughter, Teresa Gorman of Brandon, Florida, two brothers, Aaron Cheatam and Thomas Cheatam of Memphis, Tennessee, one sister, Mary Morris of Sikeston, Missouri, three grandchildren, three great grandchildren and a host of nephew, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Friends may call Friday, January 5, 2018 at 11:00 A. M. at One More Chance Ministries, 505 Davis Blvd. Sikeston, Missouri where Minister Hallie Bonner is the pastor.
