Napoleon Baker, 60, affectionately known at "Smokey" and "Nathaniel" formerly of Sikeston, died, January 21, 2018, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. He was born July 13, 1957 in Bell City, Missouri to the late Walter Baker, Sr. and the late Pauline Gray.
He was of the Baptist faith and an avid sports fan.
He served his country honorably by enlisting in the United States Army.
He was united in marriage to Lois Andrews of St. Louis, Missouri.
He is survived by three sons and one daughter-in-law, Demetrius Baker of Sikeston, Nathaniel (Amanda) Baker of Nashville, Tennessee and Nathan Smith of New Madrid, Missouri, two daughters, Tamara West of Chicago, Illinois, and Dimisha Turk of Sikeston, Missouri, one brother, Sylvester Young of El Paso, Texas, and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends.
A visitation will be Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at 11:00 A. M. at Green Memorial Church of God in Christ in Sikeston.
