Joe Lee Hatchett, 57, resident of Sikeston, Missouri died Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at his home. He was born January 23, 1961 in Tunica, Mississippi to the late Acie Dixon and Jewel Hatchet Dixon.

Joe Lee confessed hope in Christ at an early age and was of the Baptist faith.

He obtained a certificate of completion in Auto Body and Fender Work while in Kansas City, Missouri.

Joe Lee loved doing lawn care serves, and riding horses. However, his greatest love was his Chevy Truck.

He is preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Lillian Gross and Bobbie Ann Hatchett.

He is survived by two sons, Charles Lewis and Christopher Lewis of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, four daughters, LaShonda Long of Sikeston, Missouri, Shakita Long and Joelisha Lewis of Cape Girardeau, Missouri and Ciara Conley of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, four brothers, Robert (Brenda) Hatchett and Acie (Shontell) Dixon, Jr. of Sikeston, Missouri, Terry Hatchett of Phoenix, Arizona and Frank Hayes of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, four sisters, Willie Mae (Calvin) Taylor, Wanda Dixon, Vonda Dixon of Sikeston, Missouri and Vivian Dixon of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, a special friend, Meko Lewis of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, a special brother-in-law, Henry Gross of Sikeston, Missouri, four grandchildren, and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Friends may call Saturday, February 17, 2018, from 11:00 A. M. until the funeral hour of 12:00 P. M .at New Covenant Christian Fellowship Ministry in Sikeston with the pastor, Bishop Calvin Bird officiating.
