Earline Graham

Earline Graham, 83, resident of Charleston, Missouri, died Thursday, February 8, 2018 at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Missouri. She was born November 24, 1934 in New Madrid, Missouri to the late Ollie and Georgia Jones.

In 1951, she married the love of her life, Roy Graham, who was a devoted husband and father to their ten children. They enjoyed 56 years together before his passing in 2007.

Earline confessed her hope and faith in Jesus Christ and was baptized at an early age. She united with Rush Ridge Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Reverend William Vaughn. After the closing of Rush Ridge, she joined Bethlehem Baptist Church, which is currently under the leadership of Reverend Lavern Frazier. Earline was blessed with the gift of singing; and used this gift in the choir. Her favorite songs were "Precious Lord" and "Remember Me". She was a praying woman possessing strong Christian values which she instilled in her children and other family members.

In addition to her parents, one son, Clifford Graham, one daughter, Aretta Graham-Kinder, six brothers, Ferrell Jones, Fred Lee Jones, Vernell Jones, Will Jones, Oliver Jones, and O.C. Jones, one sister, Teresa Jones, and one son-in-law, Phillip Porter, Jr. have all preceded her in death.

She is survived by four sons, Roy (Lawanna) Graham, Jr. of Gary, Indiana, George (Karen) Graham of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, Paul Graham of Erie, Pennsylvania, and Kamal (Alicia) Graham of Los Angeles, California, five daughters, Christine (James) Davis of Chicago, Illinois, Gloria (Carnell) Petty of Erie, Pennsylvania, Vickey Graham (John Sherrell) of Wilson City, Missouri, Rose Porter of Charleston, Missouri, Leigh Ann (Allen) Kindle of Ullin, Illinois, one step-son,Victor Riley of Sikeston, Missouri, one brother, Paul (Alma) Jones of Salisbury, North Carolina, one daughter- in- law, Lula Graham of Chicago, Illinois and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.

Friends may call Saturday, February 17, 2018 from 12:00 noon until the funeral hour of 1:00 pm at Mercy Seat Missionary Baptist Church, Charleston, Missouri with Reverend Lavern Frazier officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery with the Williams Funeral Home of Charleston in charge of arrangements.
