Marcus De'Andres Price

Marcus De'Andres Price, 27, resident of Sikeston, Missouri, died Thursday, August 23, 2018 in Sikeston, Missouri.  He was born April 15, 1991 in St. Louis, Missouri and raised by his loving parents, Walter and Alice Price Moss of Sikeston, Missouri.

Marcus believed that Christ was his savior.  He was a former member of St. John Missionary Baptist Church.

He was a graduate of Sikeston High School class of 2009 in Sikeston, Missouri.

After graduation, Marcus joined the United States Army where he served from 2009 until 2012. During this time, he earned a National Defense Service Medal, a Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, and an Army Service Ribbon.

He was a hard working man.  He was employed as a cook at Ruby Tuesday and the Sikeston Convalescent Center.

Marcus was a family man who was passionate about his son.  He was friendly, loving, respectful and very down to earth.  He enjoyed playing video games.

He is survived by one son, Drew Cooper Price of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, his mother and father, Walter and Alice Moss Price of Sikeston, Missouri, four brothers, Adrin Price, Anthony Price, and Jermaine Winfield of Sikeston, Missouri, and Marques (Jessica McKinney) Price of Blytheville, Arkansas, three sisters, LaQuita (Derikus Coleman) Price of Sikeston, Missouri, Brittany (Arnold Keith Kellum) Price of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, and Kyla Moss of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, his grandmothers, Velma Woods of Sikeston, Missouri and Virgie Duckett of Memphis, Tennessee, his biological mother, Sherri Walker of St. Louis, Missouri, uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Friends may call Saturday, September 1, 2018 from 11:00 am until the funeral hour of 12:00 noon at New Direction Outreach Ministries in Sikeston, Missouri with the pastor, Dr. LaMonte' Calvin officiating.  Interment will immediately  follow in Sikeston Memorial Park.
