Alfonso Harton

November 28, 1943 — October 10, 2021

Alfonso Harton was born November 28, 1943 in Braggadocio, Missouri to the late William and Lela Jones Harton. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, W.L. Harton, and Wilbert Harton, and two sisters, Ethel Mae Rush, and Twila Fay Chisem.

He was a former member of the Trinity Church of Deliverance in Charleston, Missouri under the leadership of the late Bishop James Whitfield.

On February 13, 1988, he married the love his life, Francine Offord, in Charleston, Missouri. They shared 33 years of love together.

Alfonso was a hard-working man. He was a licensed electrician. He had contracts with many churches and office buildings. He was once employed as a maintenance worker by the Charleston Housing Authority. Later on in life, he worked as a security officer.

He loved to fish. In his free time, Alfonso enjoyed going to Spanish Lake to sit with a pole in his hand. If he wasn’t fishing, he was working on cars. Those things brought him joy.

On October 10, 2021, while at his home in St.Louis, Missouri, Alfonso was called home to be with the Lord at the age of 77 years, ten months, and 12 days.
