Allen Tucker, Sr.

Allen Tucker, Sr., son of Leo Tucker and Ella Mae Hall, was born on August 11, 1950 in Chicago, Illinois. He was one of three siblings. His mother preceded him in death.

Allen enlisted in the United States Navy in 1968.  After serving during the Vietnam Era, he was honorably discharged. Although he worked for various employers, he was lead to a career in maintenance engineering.

Allen enjoyed reading as well as watching television and movies. He was a handy person who would tinker with things in his free time. He also loved to eat and snack.

On Saturday, October 2, 2021, Allen departed this life and gained his wings while at the Sikeston Convalescent Center in Sikeston, Missouri.

Allen will be missed.  He leaves to cherish his precious memories, his father and stepmother, Leo and Mildred Tucker, daughter, Tammi Murray, son, Allen Tucker, Jr., step-daughters, Jasmine Miles and Janis Miles, brother,  Tommy McCraven Hardey, sister, Sandra Tucker, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held October 15, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri, 17357 Stars and Stripes Way, in Bloomfield, Missouri 63825.  Full military honors will be accorded.  The Williams Funeral Homes of Charleston is in charge of arrangements.
