Alma Gaye Price Mceachern

Alma Gaye Price McEachern, 63, resident of Charleston, Missouri, formerly of Macon, Georgia, died Friday, March 3, 2023 at her home in Charleston, Missouri.  She was born August 7, 1959 in Macon Georgia to the late Al Price and the late Patricia Monday.

She was a graduate of Dougherty County High School in Albany, Georgia.

Alma’s bonus children had a special place in her heart. She spent many years caring for youth when she owned her own daycare, Alma’s Day Care in Charleston, Missouri. She fulfilled her passion until her retirement.

Cooking and cleaning were two things that Alma loved to do. Her favorite pastime was spending time with her grandbabies whom she loved dearly. She was a wise woman with many sayings such as “Honest Engine”, “Treat people like you want to be treated”, and “Don’t worry, be happy”.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her grandparents, and her nephew, Richard Lee.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories her husband, Sechrone Wade of Charleston, Missouri, her son, Bret (Ashley Eckley) McEachern of Riverton, Wyoming, her daughter, Keli (Codey Sloat, Sr.) Downing of Odin, Illinois, her brother, Scot (Rebecca) Gilmer of Leesburg, Georgia, her sister, Lynn (Randy) Williams of Dawson, Georgia, her grandsons, Skot Dorris of Bertrand, Missouri and Codey Sloat, Jr. of Odin, Illinois, her former mother-in-law, Sally McEachern of Riverton, Wyoming, a special friend, B.J. Warren of Bertrand, Missouri, her housekeeper, Tracy Allen of Charleston, Missouri, and a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.

Friends may call Friday, March 10, 2023 from 12:00 noon until the funeral hour of  1:00 P.M. at the Williams Funeral Chapel in Charleston, Missouri with pastor Floyd Wade officiating. Interment will immediately follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Charleston with the Williams Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
