Ann Wheeler Clark

September 5, 1951 — April 18, 2023

Mrs. Ann Marie Wheeler-Clark was born in Catron Missouri, the daughter of the late Sam and Alice Wheeler.  She attended Lilbourn High School and graduated in 1970. She  professed her love for Christ at a young age and was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Catron for over 50 years.  She served in many ministries within the church including adult choir, President of Pastor’s Aid, usher board and mother board.

Mrs. Ann Marie Wheeler-Clark was united in holy matrimony to Willie C. Clark on September 13, 2003, and has been inseparable ever since.  They shared a love like no other, rather it was traveling together to sitting at home watching a good western.  God truly put them together.  She also enjoyed attending yard sales, Flee Markets, family gatherings and she loved to eat.   Family was everything to her.

Mrs. Ann Marie Wheeler-Clark leaves to cherish her memories:  loving husband of 19 years, Mr. Willie C. Clark; 3 sons, Darryl (Mildred) Wheeler of Jonesboro, GA, Demetrius Wheeler of Flint, MI, Willie Clark; 2 daughters, LaKiesha Clark of Sikeston, MO,  Gloria (Darrell) McElrath of Dyersburg, TN: 1 son/nephew, Steven (Mageela) Wheeler of Swartz Creek, MI; 9 grandchildren, O’Bryan   Winford of Sikeston, MO, Darryl (Jay) Wheeler Jr of Jonesboro, GA, Gentry Herrion of St. Charles, MO, Darius Wheeler of Sandy Spring, GA, Demotto (Bridgett) Wheeler, Dyersburg, TN, Demetrius Wheeler Jr of New Orleans, LA, Damadre Wheeler of New Orleans, LA, Nia McLin of Dyersburg, TN, Gareth Moore of Sikeston, MO; 5 great grand children, O’Bryan Winford Jr, S’nyah Winford,  Aleya Wheeler, Reniah Bogan, Brylan Triplett; 1 sister, Rosy Wheeler of Flint, MI; 1 brother, Billy (Pearl) Wheeler of Lilbourn, MO; 1 mother-in-law, Minnie Clark of Essex, MO; 10 sisters-in-law; 6 brothers-in-law; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, other relatives; Special friends Edna Houston, JoAnn Farr, Carolyn Weaver, Shirley Daniel, Mary Taylor, Mary Cain, Bertha Chisolm, Mammie Brown, Linda and Josh Clark.

Mrs. Ann Marie Wheeler-Clark proceeded in death by her parents, Samuel and Alice Wheeler; 4 sisters, Iodia Johnson, Pricilla Lloyd, Altee Higginbottom and Elizabeth Kindred; 7 brothers, Samuel Wheeler Jr., Robert Wheeler, Sylvester Wheeler, Willie Wheeler, Isaac Wheeler and Joe Wheeler; 1 father-in-law, Sullivan Clark; 1 brother-in-law, Elmer Clark.

A visitation will be held Friday, April 28, 2023, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Williams Funeral Home in Charleston, Missouri, located at 304 Vine St. Friends may call Saturday, April 29, 2023, at Life Changers Restoration Ministries, located at 320 Coleman Ave. in Lilbourn, Missouri, from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour of noon with Pastor Richard Houston of First Baptist Church of Catron officiating. Interment will immediately follow in Simmons Park Cemetery in Catron.
