Antonio Deward Bogan “ Spanky ”, 36, resident of  Charleston, Missouri died Saturday, May 9, 2020.  He was born on May 16, 1983 to Susan Bogan Nichols and Dwight Rice.

Spanky was a loving husband, father, uncle and was admired by all of his cousins, especially “Baby Jay”, who called him “Money Money.”

Spanky had a passion for dogs and riding four wheelers. Spanky and his wife Angie operated a kennel out of their home, called “Country Boy Kennel.” Spanky was loved by many people, and always willing to help others. There was never a day, that he didn’t have a smile on his face, smiling ear to ear. We will never forget “ Spanky”, also known as, “The Knockout King.”

His grandfather, William Bogan, grandmother, Georgia Mae Smith, and brother, Trico Gant, preceded him in death.

Antonio “Spanky” Bogan leaves behind, his loving wife Angela Bogan, who joined him in marriage on March 14, 2020; grandmother, Mary Bogan; mother, Susan (John) Nichols; father, Dwight Rice;  two daughters,  Precious Bogan and  Ja’Kaira Howard; step-daughter, Katie Julian; three sons, Quinten Bogan, Cameron Hahan, and Chris Willis;  step-son, Jason Julian; three sisters,  Shanika (Jeff) Bogan, Cerethia  LaToya Scott and Priscilla Dowell; one sister-in-law, Debbie Copeland; two brothers, Eric Phillips and Kyree Coleman; two brothers- in-law, David (Shelia) King and  Rick King; two special nephews, Roquavious Bogan and Jeffery Ewing; granddaughter, Cayson Coke; two very special aunts, Rozena Bogan and Sharon Scott ; his special uncle, Roger Robinson, his Godsister, Nikita Brooks; his best friend, Jake Woolvertor, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

A walk through visitation will be held Saturday, May 23, 2020 from 1:00 P.M.  until  3:00 P.M. at Williams Funeral Chapel in Charleston, Missouri.

Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery with the Williams Funeral Homes of Charleston in charge of arrangements.

Due to the Covid 19 (coronavirus) worldwide pandemic and in accordance with the Center for Disease Control recommendations of social distancing, Williams Funeral Homes is respectfully requesting to keep the crowd to a minimum.
