Bennie Corbitt, Jr.

Bennie Corbitt, Jr., affectionately known as Bubba, 72, of Bertrand, Missouri fell asleep to enter eternal rest on Thursday, March 18, 2021.  Bubba was born June 5, 1948 in Charleston, MO, the son of the late Bennie Corbitt, Sr. and Louise Corbitt.

During Bubba's lifetime, he worked various jobs.  He loved working and dancing.  But he was always ready to give a helping hand.

Bubba is preceded in death by his parents, Bennie and Louise Corbitt, two sisters, Marva (Pooley) Jean, and Edith (Tina) Corbitt, and three brothers, Paul Johnson, Stevie Easton, and Rodney Easton.

He leaves to cherish his loving memories eight sisters:  Ollie Richmond of Detroit MI, Faye Jones (Donald), and Eldorado Hodges of Dayton OH, Candrice Parker of Bertrand MO, Barbara Pierce of Chicago IL, Veronica Dunigan of Charleston MO, Beulah Beasley of Dyersburg TN, and Patricia Biles of Poplar Bluff MO, seven brothers: Arthur Corbitt of Indianapolis IN, Willie Easton of Chicago IL, Gary Easton (Susie),Richard Easton, and Timothy Easton of Charleston MO, Curtis Easton of Farmington MO, and Ceascle Beasley of Sikeston MO, and a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, and many friends.

Friends may call Saturday, March 27, 2021 from 12:00 noon until the funeral hour of 1:00 P.M. at the Williams Funeral Chapel in Charleston MO with his sister, Pastor Veronica Dunigan officiating.  Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
