Betty Ann Fisher Mcgee

June 16, 1967 — December 22, 2023

Ms. Betty Ann (Fisher) McGee was called home to glory on December 22, 2023. She was born on June 16, 1967 in Flint, Michigan to the union of Mr. & Mrs. William and Bernice Fisher. She professed a hope in Christ at Joyful Praise Ministries in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

She attended school at Charleston High School in Charleston, Missouri, she moved to Carlise, Illinois and then to St. Louis, Missouri before returning home to Charleston, Missouri. Betty Ann was a social butterfly who loved cooking, laughing, and spending time with family and friends. She never met a stranger. You could count on her having a big, beautiful smile on her face or to say something so funny that anyone under the sound of her voice might laugh until you cried! Although Betty Ann faced many challenges throughout her life, she never gave up and always held firm to her belief in her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to see her through. She loved going to church and praising the Lord. Betty Ann will be truly missed by many.

Betty Ann is preceded in death by both of her parents as well as one brother, Anthony Fisher, and two sisters, Nora Kay Boyce and Patricia Fisher. She leaves to cherish her loving memory one son, Byron Jones , one brother, James “JudaBoy” (Jessica) Boyce  all of Charleston, MO, ten grandchildren; Bryer, Byron Jr., Jacari, G’Andre, Kijaun, Kiara, Kimari, Precious, Jaylen, and Janya, three nieces; Shawniece, Ashley, and Latricia, two nephews; Barry and Irvin, a special friend Irene Smith,  and a host of family and friends.
