Brian Lamont Visor, Sr.

March 5, 1977 — June 26, 2021

Brian Lamont Visor, Sr., affectionately known as BDOUGH, died Saturday, June 26, 2021 at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Missouri.  He was born March 5, 1977 in Sikeston, Missouri to the late Percy Visor, Sr. and Doretha Harton Visor of Charleston, Missouri.

He graduated from Cape Central High School in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, class of 1995.  He went on to further his education by attending Lincoln University in Jefferson City, Missouri and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Brian was a home body, who enjoyed watching sports, especially football and basketball.  He was a vivid Baltimore Ravens fan.

He worked at Habcare in the home health care industry for many years. It was his passion to help others.

Riding around listening to music, acquiring "old school cars" and fixing them up, and hanging with his friends brought him joy.  He loved fashion and his chicken wings. He could talk on the phone for hours.

He truly loved his children.  Spending time with them was important to him. Brian will really be missed.

In addition to his father, Percy Visor, Sr., he is preceded in death by his grandparents, William and Lela Harton and Lura and Alzadie Visor, his sister, Quanda Visor Bailey, his aunts, Twila Faye Chism, Ethel Mae Rush, Julia Pearl Visor, Ann Visor Cartwright, Edith Mae Visor Woodard, Francis Visor Burke, Faye Visor Witt, Emma Jean Visor Earby, and Mary Ann Visor, and his uncles, Wilbert Harton, William Harton, Larry Visor, and Roosevelt Visor.

Brian is survived by two sons, Jade and Brian, II, four daughters, Khazia, Brizelle, Makaylee, and Brielle, his mother, Doretha Harton Visor of Charleston, Missouri, siblings, Pamela Visor of Omaha, Nebraska, Bridget Visor of Charleston, Misouri, Percy Visor, Jr., Helen Louise Webb and Derell (Matasha) Jackson  of Kansas City, Missouri, Leslie Visor of Lawrenceville, Georgia, Mark Jackson of St. Louis, Missouri, Tyrone Taylor of Cape Girardeau, Missouri and Penny Coleman of Chicago, Illinois, uncles, Willis Visor, Sr. of Charleston, Missouri and Alfonzo (Francine) Harton of St. Louis, Missouri, aunt,  Maxcine (Thatus) Smith of Omaha, Nebraska, special friend, Channelle Oliver of Charleston, Missouri, nephews, nieces, other relatives, and friends.

Friends may call Saturday, July 3, 2021 from 1:00 P.M. until the funeral hour of 2:00 P.M. at Mercy Seat Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Arthur Cassell officiating.  Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery with the Williams Funeral Homes of Charleston in charge of arrangements.
