Charles Edward Hunter

Charles Edward Hunter was born March 9, 1968 in Catron, Missouri to Margaret Greer and Robert Patton. His parents and one grandson, Drake Love, III, preceded him in death.

He enjoyed sitting in his utility room, playing his music loud. He loved talking to people and with his kind heart, he was always helping someone in need.

He leaves to cherish his loving memories his son, Issiah Hunter of Parma, Missouri, two daughters, Shakyla Hester of Springfield, Missouri and Quintrell Love of Hayti, Missouri, the love of his life, Lori Mead of Parma, Missouri, five grandchildren, Ty’im Hester, TimYaujaniq Hester, Bradyn Sherrod, True Love, and A’Mihrelle Love, two sisters, Dorothy (Tyrone) Perkins of Lilbourn, Missouri and Norma Hunter of Catron, Missouri, four brothers, Richard Williams of Lilbourn, Missouri, Clifford Hunter of Ft. Washington, Maryland, Robert (Michelle) Hunter of Kansas City, Missouri, and Roy T. Hunter of St. Louis, Missouri, good friends, Armond Martin and John Ladd, and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Friends may come Saturday, July 6, 2024 11:00 A.M. until the funeral hour of 12:00 noon at First Baptist Church of Catron in Catron, Missouri with Pastor Richard Houston officiating. Interment will immediately follow in Simmons Park Cemetery in Catron with the Williams Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
