Charles A. "Howard" Smith

Charles A. Smith, 57, affectionately known as Howard, resident of Farmington, Missouri, formerly of Charleston, Missouri, died Saturday, February 1, 2025 at Parkland Health Center in Farmington. He was born April 14, 1967 in Charleston to the late Hellius Curtis and the late Ruth Ann Smith Sanford. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his stepfather, Charlie Stanford, and his sister, Frankie Smith.

He attended public schools in Charleston and later gained employment at G&H Home Furnishings.

Charles enjoyed living life. In his spare time, he found joy in hanging out with his family and friends. He loved watching T.V. and riding around. He was loved and will be missed by many.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories his brother, William Steven Smith of Charleston, Missouri, his sisters, Ruth Ann Frazier of Charleston, Missouri and Earline E. Rhoden of Rock Island, Illinois, his fiancé, Tamara Marie Reece of the home, his ex-wife, Loula Smith, and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Friends may call Saturday, February 15, 2025 at 1:00 P.M. until the funeral hour of 2:00 P.M. at the Williams Funeral Chapel in Charleston.
