Mother Corine Mack Moore was born on July 6, 1947 in Blytheville Arkansas to Minerva Mack and Arthur Mack. She was raised by her mother and stepfather, James (Bull) Cooper.
She attended the public school systems of Caruthersville, Steele, Sikeston, and Scott County Central. During those years, her mom took sick, she had to delay her education, to assist in raising her younger siblings. She met Harvey T. Moore on the bus to bury her dad in 1968 and was officially introduced to him by her late sister, Mrs. Lula Bond.
On November 23, 1969, they were married on her mother's front porch. Her wedding dress was made by her mother, Mrs. Minerva Cooper.
Mother Moore loved the Lord and was always dedicated to his service. She accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized with the Holy Ghost. While living in Haywood City Missouri, she served as an usher at The New Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church under the pastoral care of the late Reverend Willie Matlock. In 1990, she and her family moved to Sikeston, MO and became members of the Travelers Rest Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Reverend Sylvester Morgan and 1st lady Karen Morgan. A faithful member on the usher board, she showed her dedication and was elevated to the status of church mother, by the late Reverend Herman Gardner and 1st Lady, Emma Gardner. Mother Moore was known for her praying power, and Mother Emma Gardner would dutifully pick her up to come to church and pray for the community and the nations.
She was a motivator and Mantra was "NEVER GIVE UP!" After the passing of her husband in 2002, Mother Moore moved in with her oldest daughter Katherine and her grandchild. In 2009, they relocated to Jefferson City Missouri and continued living together for 22 years. She continued being a church mother at the House of Refuge Worship Center under the pastoral care of Bishop Alfonse Webb, Jr. and Pastor Jennifer Webb.
Mother Moore was known to be a hard worker and proved it by chopping cotton many years and hooking beans in the fields of Southeast Missouri. She also worked as a nurses assistant at various nursing homes in the Southeast area as well. Because she had such a loving and caring heart, she Faithfully fed the hungry and donated to the Saint Jude's hospital for children with cancer.
Mother Moore had an unwavering love for paparazzi jewelry, WWE Wrestling, Jerry Springer, LeBron James, crossword puzzles, baby dolls, and her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Harvey T Moore of 32 years, sister Lula Mae Bonds, two brothers, Napoleon and James Cooper, three in laws, Caroline Moore Anderson, Mary and William Glasper, and two son in laws, Pastor Sherman Marshall and Elder Jedeary Wilderness; nieces and nephews: Christopher, Gail, Napoleon Jr, Diane, Derrick and Darryl. She dearly loved her deceased Aunts and Uncles: Anabell, Elizabeth (Dimp), Dessie Lee, Junetta, Dorretta, and Willie Love.
Mother Moore was called to her heavenly home by the life giver on Thursday, August 8, 2024, at 7:48 PM surrounded by all four daughters singing her favorite song, "Walk With Me Lord. "
She leaves to cherish her precious memories, four dedicated daughters, Evangelist Katherine (Frederick) Gage of Jefferson City, MO, Evangelist Gloria Wilderness of Poplar Bluff, MO, Evangelist Josie Marshall, and Adjutant Lavina Moore of St. Louis, MO; adored grandchildren, Davonte Hoimes-Gage, Veronica and Miranda Wilderness, Annesha and Fredericka Gage, Caitlyn Emerson, Jeffrey Liggins, Paris and Elbert Holmes, Terence and Nilah Liggins, Telaina Woodson, Audrey and Dustin Worley, Dawntanya Woodson, and Keshon Pulliam;four loving siblings, Mary Mack, Bobbie Morris, Willie (Delois)Cooper, and Lorene Cooper, all of Sikeston, MO; loving nieces and nephews, Kenny (Dinnia), Jeffrey, Venessa, Bryant, Caroline, Jennie, Johnny, Panzie, Patsy, Lewis Jr, Bryon, Jim, Tyrone, Anthony, Candiss, James, Barbara, Henry, Tameka, Dorothea, and Netfa and a host of great nieces, nephews, other relatives, church family, and friends. She also leaves her special friends: Mrs. Pearl Moore, Rev. Hosea White, Pastor Bernice Hamilton, Mrs. Ruby Gage, and the Timmons Family.
