Daisy Lee Cummings

Daisy Lee Tate Cummings, 72, died Thursday, September 23, 2021, at Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield, Kentucky.  She was born November 7, 1948 in Mounds, Illinois to the late Lillian Mae Tate.

She was a graduate of Sumner High School, class of 1965, in Cairo, Illinois.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Johnny Tate and Donald Ray Tate, two sisters, Alice Dean Tate and Hazel Tate, and one grandson, Kenneth Lewis Tucker, Jr.

Daisy is survived by her children, Barbara Tate, Diane Williams, and Dereke Cummings all of Mayfield, Kentucky, Bemosley (Gloria) Cummings and Eddie (Shirley) Cummings of Nashville, Tennessee, and Tony (Marcy) Cummings of Cairo, Illinois, two brothers, Alfred Tate of Murray, Kentucky and Stanley Tate of Anna, Illinois, and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.

She will definitely be missed.

Friends may call  Saturday, October 2, 2021 from11:00 A.M. until the funeral hour of 12:00 noon at the Williams Funeral Chapel in Charleston, Missouri with Reverend J.L. Posey officiating.  Interment will follow in Spencer Heights Cemetery in Mounds, Illinois.
