Dalvin Taylor, 26, resident of Cairo, Illinois, died October 7, 2018 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. He was born August 2, 1992 in Carbondale, Illinois to Terry Jones of Charleston, Missouri and DeAngella Taylor of Cairo, Illinois.
Dalvin, affectionately known as "Loco," loved music, dancing, laughing and making others laugh. He had a unique lingo that he used to communicate with his family and friends. He enjoyed playing paint ball, repairing bicycles, barbequing and spending time with his children.
He was currently employed as a forklift driver.
Dalvin was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Henry Douglas and Arnold Clark, his grandmother, Mary Francis Taylor, and his aunt, Pamella Taylor.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by three sons, Dalvin Taylor, Jr. of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, Ramon Deshawn Taylor of Urbandale, Illinois, and Ayden Lewis of LaCenter, Kentucky, one daughter, Brooklyn Pruitt of Belleville, Illinois, five brothers, Terion Taylor, Davian Taylor, Demarius Taylor, Terrius Taylor and Tyshaundre Taylor all of Cairo, Illinois, eight sisters, Tantania Taylor, Takena Taylor, Eshanae Taylor, Shanti Taylor and Skyler Taylor all of Cairo, Illinois, Makika Murray and La'Queen Owens of Charleston, Missouri, and Caterria (Jamar Peterkin) Williams of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, his grandmother, Rosemary Prude of Charleston, Missouri, and a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Friends may call Saturday, October 13, 2018 from 11:00 A. M. until the funeral hour of 12:00 noon at the Cairo Junior High/Senior High School with officiating. Interment will follow in Green Lawn Memorial Gardens in Villa Ridge, Illinois with the Williams Funeral Home of Charleston, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
