Dantwan Aaron O'mar Johnson, Sr., 34, resident of Sikeston, Missouri died Thursday, October 10, 2019 at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.  He was born February 23, 1985 in Sikeston, Missouri to Sandra (Lee) Vaughn of Sikeston, Missouri and Michael Simmons of Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

Dantwan attended Sikeston Senior High School.  He was engaged to Jessica Mitchell of Sikeston, Missouri.

He is preceded in death by his sister, Alexis Hines, his great-grandmother, Eliza Lane, and his grandfather, Tommy Lane.

Dantwan is survived by his fiance', Jessica Mitchell of Sikeston, Missouri, his parents, Sandra (Lee) Vaughn of Sikeston, Missouri and Michael Simmons of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, two sons, Vanquez Hill and Dantwan Johnson, Jr., of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, three daughters, A'Javeia Mitchell and Johnnyla Jones of Sikeston, Missouri and Zamiiah Coleman of Ridgley, Tennessee, two brothers, Ervin Vaughn of Benton, Missouri and Christian Vaughn of Sikeston, Missouri, other relatives and friends.

Friends may call Friday, October 18, 2019 from 11:00 am until the funeral hour of 12:00 noon at Green Memorial Church of God in Christ in Sikeston, Missouri with Elder Ronald Pulley officiating. Interment will follow in the New Morning Star Cemetery in Haywood City, Missouri with the Williams Funeral Home of Sikeston, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
