Denise Lane Bryant, affectionately known as Pooh, 43, resident of Charleston, Missouri died September 1, 2020 at her home. She was born April 30, 1977 in Charleston, Missouri to Earnest Bryant of Seattle, Washington and Cynthia Ellis Bryant of Charleston, Missouri.
She was a 1995 graduate of Charleston High School in Charleston, Missouri and was a Certified Nurse’s Assistant. Denise had been employed by several of the area nursing homes.
She was also a hairstylist who enjoyed singing, cooking and reading. Denise loved her children and her family very much.
Denise is preceded in death by her brother, Steven Bryant, a sister, Betty Bryant and her grandparents, George and Geneva Bryant, Clarice Vance and Monroe Ellis.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her significant other, Robert Sutton of Charleston, Missouri, two sons, Jaquaveon Sutton of Charleston, Missouri, and Lamarquez Sutton of Sikeston, Missouri, one daughter, Denashua Sutton of Charleston, Missouri a niece, Zahniyiah Ellis of Charleston, Missouri, five sisters, Dorothy Bryant and Amanda Bryant of Charleston, Missouri, Earnestine Bryant-Currie of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Tracy Williams of Sikeston, Missouri and Frances Williams of Jacksonville, Florida, a lifelong friend, Joyce Jones of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, and a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Friends may call Friday, September 11, 2020 at 2:00 P. M. until the funeral hour of 3:00 P.M. at the Williams Funeral Chapel in Charleston, Missouri with the pastor, Reverend Floyd Wade officiating.
