Donna Denise Hall Riggens

Donna Denise Hall Riggens, 60, resident of Charleston, Missouri, died Sunday, August 5, 2018 at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Missouri.  She was born November 23, 1957 in Charleston, Missouri to the late Lonnie Cannidy and Arlene Starks Hall.

Donna accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age and was currently a member of St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church in Charleston, Missouri.

She attended Charleston High School in Charleston, Missouri,  where she was a graduate of the Class of 1977.

Donna enjoyed working in the Health Care field and she loved working at Lambert Café in Sikeston, Missouri  until her health failed.

On September 4, 1982, Donna was united in marriage to Troy Lee Riggens who survives of Charleston, Missouri.

She was well known for the love she had for everyone and being a very outspoken woman with a giving heart. She loved talking about the bible and her church with her loved ones and friends.  Donna also loved her grandchildren and spending time with her daughters.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Derrick (Shalekqua) Hall and Mortez (Betty) Hall of Charleston, Missouri, two daughters, Roniesha Riggens of Charleston, Missouri and Ajami (Jerquawn) Riggens of Jonesboro, Arkansas, four brothers, L. G. Hall of Chicago, Illinois,  Henry Hall, Freddie Hall and Ross Starks of Charleston, Missouri, four sisters, Emma Van Winkle of Chicago, Illinois, Frankie Daniels, Rosalyn Anderson and Beverly Jones of Charleston, Missouri, a special aunt whom she loved dearly, Leola Cothan of  Bloomington, Illinois, two special friends, Vinna Anderson and Rosemary Prude of Charleston, Missouri, 20 grandchildren, two great grandchildren  and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Friends may call Saturday, August 18, 2018 from 11:00 A. M. until the funeral hour at 1:00 P. M. at Mercy Seat Missionary Baptist in Charleston, Missouri with Reverend Frankie Daniels officiating.  Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Charleston.
