Doraine Harrington

October 19, 1936 — August 15, 2020

Doraine Denise Harrington, 63, resident of St. Louis, Missouri died August 15, 2020 at Green Park Nursing and Rehabilitation in St. Louis, Missouri.  She was born October 19, 1956 in  Sikeston, Missouri to the late Henry Smith and Ernestine Harrington.

She was a graduate of Sikeston Senior High School in Sikeston, Missouri, attended Lincoln University in Jefferson City, Missouri and was a Certified Nurse’s Assistant.

Doraine was a member of West End Missionary Baptist Church in Sikeston, Missouri.

During her spare time, Doraine enjoyed reading.  When reminiscing about the good times and memories shared one can clearly hear Doraine saying, “It is what it is” or “Honey, honey” or “Won’t He do it? Yes, He will.”  She will be greatly and sadly missed.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, John Harrington.

She is survived by one  daughter and son-in-law, Kristi and Ribaz Amin of St. Louis, Missouri, three sisters and a brother-in-law, Annette (Pastor Samuel) Gibson of Sikeston, Missouri,  Michelle Summers of St. Louis, Missouri and Audrey Nabors of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, four grandchildren and and a grandson-in-law, Breanna (Demetrius ) Pullam of Columbia, Missouri, Eldridge Gibson of Sikeston, Missouri, and J’reice Harrington and Nazah Amin of St. Louis, Missouri, four great grandchildren, Dayvion Hurse of St. Louis, Missouri and Kamarh Tillman, Demetrius “DJ” Pullam, Jr. and Nassir Pullam of Columbia, Missouri, special friends, James Gorman, Lendia Boyd, Pastor Undra West and Phyllis Bishop, eight nephews, two nieces, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Friends may call Saturday, August 22, 2020 from 1:00 P. M. – 3:00 P. M. at the Williams Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, Missouri with Pastor Undra West officiating.
