Dorothy M. Sikes, 98, resident of Portageville, Missouri, died Thursday, April 17, 2025 at Missouri Delta Medical Center of Sikeston. She was born August 16, 1926 to Robert and Minnie Haynes.
She was a longtime member of Zion Rock Baptist Church. Dorothy served as NAACP Chapter #4074 President for over forty years. Dorothy leaves six children, Willie Joe, Otherine, Don, Rose, Linda and Brenda, two brothers Walter and Joe, and two sisters Minnie and Callie, along with a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and family friends to cherish her memory.
Friends may call Saturday, April 26, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. until the funeral hour of 12:00 noon at Life Changers Restoration Ministries in Lilbourn, Missouri. Interment will follow in Mason Cemetery in Point Pleasant, Missouri with the Williams Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
