Duron Martrel Nunley

Duron Martrel Nunley was born August 13, 1989, in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, to Tamra Renee Egson Nunley and Joe Willie Nunley Jr.

He was a 2008 graduate of Cape Central High School and was employed at Chartwells Compass Group at Southeast Missouri State University.

Duron accepted the Lord as his Savior and was baptized at New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. On June 13, 2024, he was carried home on the wings of an angel at the age of 34 years and ten months.

Duron was loyal to his family and close friends.  He was a devoted father and family man, enjoyed cooking for them and video gaming with his sons. He was a talented lyricist, and an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching his boys in their sporting activities.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his parents, three brothers, Joe Brand, Darieth and Davarious Nunley, fiancé and mother of his children, Danica Woods, sons, Demarion, Drake and Blayze Nunley, a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, and cousins.

Friends may call Thursday, June 20, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. until the funeral hour of 12:00 noon at New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Cape with Pastor Howard McGee, Jr. officiating. Interment will immediately follow services at Fairmount Cemetery with the Williams Funeral Home in charge of arrangements
