Earnestine Guest

August 23, 1960 — December 6, 2023

Earnestine Guest was born August 23, 1960 to Otis and Rosie Guest in Hughes, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by one son, Christopher Guest, four sisters, Magnolia Boyd, Cora Green, Dorothy Branch, and Joosie Guest, and Katherine       Adams, and two grandsons, Joseph Guest, Jr. and Fred Cotton.

Arkansas is where her early years of education started. Then, the family relocated to New Madrid, Missouri where she finished her education. She went on to gain employment through Plastene Supply Company in Portageville, Missouri and New Madrid Golden Nursing Center in New Madrid, Missouri. She would eventually retire due to injuries.

She became a full-time homemaker in which she enriched her children’s and grandchildren’s lives. She was affectionately known as Ninnie by family, friends, and all who knew and loved her.

Earnestine earned her heavenly wings on Wednesday, December 6, 2023 while at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Missouri. She was taken from our midst at the age of 63 years, three months, and 14 days.

She leaves to cherish her fond memories her soulmate, Johnnie Johnson of the home, two sons, Joseph (Willie) Guest and  Gregory Guest of Sikeston, Missouri, two daughters, Tunisha Valentine and Tonya Smith of Sikeston, Missouri, one       daughter-in-law, Tanekka Guest, two sisters, Shirley Guest  Robinson of New Madrid, Missouri and LueAnn Spence of Sikeston, Missouri, one brother, Alex Freeman of New Madrid, Missouri, 14 grandchildren, Jamaya, Jewel, Jordyn, Jayda, Jamarion, Genisis, Layla, Gabriel, Isaiah, Hakeem, Paris, Aaron, and DeMarcus all of Sikeston, 13 great grandchildren, and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Visitation and services will be held Saturday, December 16, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. at the Williams Funeral Chapel in Charleston, Missouri. Interment will immediately follow services in Evergreen Cemetery in New Madrid, Missouri. The Williams Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
